sweepster pic's

Anyone have pictures of the mounting on for a front mount sweepster onto a 82 series? I've got one that came with a 1650 I parted a while back but the mount was hacked and the electric lift gone. I have a extra hydro piston from that same 1650 and was hoping to use it off the front ports on my 782D....

Re: 125 loader up-dates!

MIke I measured the stock N/F axle it measured about 33 inches with 4-8 tires. The stock W/F axle as found on my 782D is about 36 and the one now under the 125 is almost 39 inches. A much wider stance for sure! Jim The spindle up-grade was done already I got the axle and rims from a 1450 I had to in...

Mike
I'm not sure as to the width now, I never put a tape on it, and now it's in the back of the garage. buried till the first big snow! I'll be working down there tomorrow I'll see if I can climb over things and get a tape out for you.

Re: 1872 / 54" blade

The first picture shows the hole i drilled into the rock shaft and the longer sub-frame. The extra length needs to be added after the curves in the arms I would add a cross brace at this time too. Be sure that they are even if not a strong breeze will brake the sub-frame. IF you want I can take a pi...

The 149 and 1650 used the same white IH935 any Case IH dealer and get you a rattle can or 5 of it for your next project. If not call Ken Updike at C and G 1-866-Farmall they have it in stock and same day shipping! Plus Ken is on this site and wrote the book on Cub Cadets!

Re: 1872 / 54" blade

Brad You will need to modify the sub-frame of the plow. The frame is longer on the 1872 by 9 inches therefore the Rock shaft where the back of the plow attaches to the frame is about 3 to 5 inches further back I did this to one of mine and love the power angle. I never had front ports before so I pu...

Re: 126 frozen up rearend

Not sure if you have power near by but mine like all other tricks will need 120v AC power. I bought a magnetic block heater at TSC is plugs into the power and just stick to the bottom of the rear. Leave it on over night and the ice/water should be melted. Like others have said drain from the plug or...

farmall H Serial Number tag orientation

anyone know the farmall H Serial Number tag orientation? I'm working on the restoration of Dad's 48 H and wanted to know if the tag should be read from the rear of the tractor facing forward or from the front facing the rear. I have a new tag and would like to install it this weekend. Thanks guys!

Re: Input shaft seal

Todd We had looked into getting the PTO disc's made, we found the supplier that IH used in the 60's however they have long since tossed the mold, the machine cost to make a new one is costly and we have yet to have it done, so for now we are still buying the $50 kits from CCC. As for the drive clutc...

panit and powder codes

Back in the spring I searched for codes for the IH red in a powder it was suggested that I use RAL 3001 for the red. Thank you to who ever had posted that info it is very close and after bringing my 782D to 3 shows no one noticed what parts where powder and what parts where painted. I am just now ge...

Re: Solenoid or ignition

Grant with 12v at the small terminal and 12v at the large terminal from the battery you have a bad solenoid. It is very possible that the used one you installed is also bad. I would check napa for one form a 60's mustang and only use 1 of the 2 small terminals. Really any one would work but the 60's...

I have worked with Jim on this and have tested it on several of my own tractors. The worst was on my 70 i use to mow with. I've owned this one about 4 years I know it was never removed by me or the PO. I hooked it up without any lubricant and used my impact gun on it. About 2 minutes later it came o...

Todd I bought a Pequea 6x12 trailer (it really is 6 1/2x12) new in March of 2008. I bought it through Ray weaver and picked it up when I went to the winter convention that year. Dave C. also bought a bigger 16 foot trailer at the same time the factory double stacked them for us and we saved big time...
