Cast or stamped steel (pic)

My 104 has a 42 inch mower the original owner said it was cast iron but it sure looks like stamped steel to me... Can anyone tell from the pic if its a cast deck?

Re: 1782 diesel wont start

On the starting fluid I would suggest don't use it too much it will dry out the cylinders on a motor that has zero prime WD-40 is much safer just take the filter out and spray direct into intake  WD-40 hasn't been flammable for quite a few years :!: No need to be flammable its a combustible a...

Re: 1782 diesel wont start

I would think that if it runs on the starting fluid and then dies that you still have air in the system, I would pull filter and see if its full to the top with fuel and if not top it off re install filter and prime again and see if she fires up. On the starting fluid I would suggest don't use it to...

Re: Tipton IN show 2010

Nice pic 8-) I bet a Cub Cadet would sound even better with a triple two stoke and those plow day events would never be the same, I can see a 12 second 1/4 mile furrow complete with a rooster tail off the mold board plow

Re: 104 snow blower chains?

Good pics you guys got hammered with snow 8-) , I can live with those scratch marks the Fisher plow does a lot more damage to the asphalt so the Cub should be an improvement  , I have some old car chains sitting around so I'll just cuts some links and make a pair of chains.
