Re: They know me.......

Paul, It is a pretty nice 140. Well maintained and sounds great cutting on the hill in 2nd. I guess I do have a proclivity towards ditches and such. It goes waaaay back to the first new bicycle tire or knobby for the dirt bike, and the new tires for the pickup or drive tires for the dump, new ag's, ...

Jill has it figured out!

Smart girl, my wife. After looking at another roadside tractor for sale, this one being an F-Cub for the paltry sum of $3,800.00, getting back in the truck complaining that every one wants an arm and a leg for old IH tractors and Cub cadets. She looked at me and said.... You still haven't figured i...

Re: Continuous Thread for all the Posts That Don't Rate a To

I have not been on the site much lately, real busy with the job. They've had me in Texas and Tennessee for training with more to come... Can't complain though, our mechanics are working out in this weather, generally inside a steel building with a few other engines running making heat. Not to menti...

Re: They know me.......

I took the 140 home and fixed a few things. Steering tie rod was wrong and I had to cut a notch in it to set the proper toe in. Angle PTO leaked oil, they've tried everything to get it to stop but it always leaked. I found on a Farmall forum that when you had the flat belt pulley on it there was no...

Another "look what followed me home"

I picked up a nice IH 526 tiller today. The PO said it ran but has been sitting for a few years. I put some fresh gas in it and spilled a little into the carb and it started first pull. Won't stay running though, needs a diaphram, easy fix on the B&S. It doesn't look like it has many hours on it, t...

Re: Loaders are cool ( most of the time )

Bryan, It only took a couple whacks with the sledge to knock it in two. But the loader got to haul it away. I was running the pieces out back and having to stop to air up the tires on the right side every two trips. I picked up a plate with screws in it cleaning up the burn area and got two flats a...

Then, I'm sitting on the loader thinking, hmmmmm, what can I do now? The post at the end of the driveway got hit and needs replaced. Well, the old one need taken out..... right? Re: Waukesha Engines

Jess,
They run on natural gas and are used for gas compression and power generation.

Most of what I deal with is in the gas fields.

They can move on average anywhere from 10 to 25 million cubic feet of gas a day (Mmscfd)

Re: Loaders are cool ( most of the time )

The thick PVC spacers are actually not PVC but the fusible poly piping used for moderate pressure gas and water piping. I have been using them on my loader for 9 or 10 years (gheese that's a while....) and have never spun one or had a bolt move. That being said, I am absolutely sure I would have ti...

I am going to get my timed deck on Ted to use as a trimming mower and I lost the blades which I kept off of it when I took it to shows(they always turned even when disengaged by yje foot pedal).
That is of course, if I ever bring Ted back!

It is also agreed that if anyone gives him any "cute" Deere stuff, it gets donated and, according to his father, any Mopar stuff.

Waukesha Engines

I am looking for any information on where old Waukesha engines were used.
Being I work for the company now, it's good to know.
I know they were in some old Olivers, F-12's ?, White, Co-Op? and others.
Pictures would be nice too.

They only build gas (not gasoline) engines now.
Thanks

Yeah, I'll tell you what, the new Vince was a nice guy.

Well, we stayed dry and warm if you had a good coat.

The weather guessers and price of gas put a hurting on us this year. It was good to see the guys though. Timmy D. and Cal put in some miles to get there.

I had a good day!
