Re: Lets have fun with Electicity.....

Pull the three prong plug off the rectifier. Fire up cub and check the voltage between the two outside terminals. Should be approximately 28 volts AC at full throttle. If so, shut it down and replug it to the rectifier. Fire it up and check the voltage on the center pin. Should be 13.7 Volts DC know...

I am waiting til spring to take the axle out and rebush it. Will machine up some new busings and press them in the axle.

Sounds like the Fuel is OLD...and has water in it..... Today's gasoline has a maximum of 30 day shelf life. The alcohol is a water magnet.... Re: Engine sleeve

issue is core shift. You would need to know if the bore is centered in the core. If it is not, boring for the sleeve may produce a very thin wall on one side. This would not be a good situation and lead to other issues, ie cracked block etc. As some have stated, finding a replacement block is probab...

That screen probably will not shred the materials to a very small size. Most screens have round holes and the size of the final product is determined by the size of the holes.
Not sure how safe that wuld be. THat is extruded metal used for grating and similar applications.

I believe some of the manuals say non detergent. Non detergent oil does not suspend the contaminants in the oil for the filter to catch and detergent suspends them so they end up in the filter.

If those AG's are either 15" or 16" they are no longer made! THe Case 442, 444, 446 & 448's use that as well as the 644, 646 and 648 loader tractors. THe closest you can get is something made for a skid steer. Tread is similar to backhoe tires with the center bar for roading. Both my 644 and 646 hav...

I never have a problem using both the clutch and lights on my 1572 or my 1782. Maybe I am just lucky for a change or one day the whole thing will go South.

My 782D did not have the light koohed up so I never used both so don't know if would keep ahead of the battery.

Paul: I have seen that lots of times. Mostly on drag racing vehicles where they hooked up hard and the disc was not a heavy duty racing unit. The old style chippers are really dangerous. We had a guy killed by this week. A limb co9ught him and took him into it...in front of his wife. Grusome scene. The newer ones have the feed rollers and safety bar. The 59M sucks them in fast and also likes to spit chipped pieces out of the hopper so be ...

Todd is exactly right except for the final statement. It is true if you use the cast iron housing. The aluminum housing has a filler/dipstick tube that is under the seat. The cast iron housing does not have any provision for this item. If you do a lot of mowing then the supers are the way to go beca...
