I've got the short one. My memory is foggy but last time I installed it a rigged up a length of twine, hooked the spring on the rear mount, ran the twine out the front towards the engine. I was able to pull it forward into position. We will advise install procedure and keep track of skinned knuckles...

The pedal return spring for my 1650 broke. Do I need to remove the fenders to replace or perhaps just the drive shaft cover?

Factory item only or has anyone found a hardware store spring that will work?

Holy smokes that rake is awesome!

It is and to think when I first got the 682 I had no clue what the rake and blade were good for and almost sent it off to the trash heap!

Well it's that time of the year again. Looking at next weekend, in the north east, it might pay to have your snow equipment ready! At least a blade! I just finished removing the leaves so the equipment gets swapped this week.
