Praying this post finds you regulars in good health! My wife and are 50 and this knocked us down pretty good. I was part of a group that got it at a place I do work. One of other cases at the factory just died. I was hospitalized for a couple of days to get my oxygen levels back. Recovery seemed qui...

Sorry to hear. Man that's a kick in the shorts! Yes new breather is a must. I don't think I read anything about valve guides but maybe that was lumped in with valve work. How about the valve seals as well. These are installed? Just wondering if something got innocently overlooked. Good luck

Ugh... the tech problem was on your end! Just cause I'm not a nerd doesn't mean this was my fault. Tom got the message just fine! We have been laughing since the first message then conspired about how to mess with you. Lol. It obviously worked like a charm. You were all worried. Lol. Great job Tom s...

"Hi". Well ..I never have claimed to be very good with the whole computer/sending/receiving stuff. What I do know about this private message, I typed a message to you and Tom, then I had to take care of something else on my phone, when I came back to it it was gone. Maybe something got sent...idk. Oh man...when I saw the title I thought this was legit. Then I thought..oh man Tom will go complete "Karen" on hackers like he normally does. Then I saw the hacker was big mike and I thought... yeah Big mike is a hack. Now it's all making sense. I better sign off before I dig my grave any deeper. :l...

Yes as joe has mentioned the safety switch on the foot pedal can give trouble. On my 127 I had the spring steel flapper that pushes the switch down break in half. Sounds like your getting close. Good luck.

Re: 129 =Time for a new Engine
Your going have to give some back story. Is this 129 your pride and joy? Has this been handed down from your family? Is the 129 in great condition? Why does the 129 need a new engine? Why would you consider an 18 horse twin vs single cylinder? Maybe I missed it but let us know some of the pieces we ...

That's great! I'm sure that was a lot of work! If I recall that's probably about a 12 HP engine? Where did you put the fuel tank..is that why you changed the rear fenders? Thanks for posting

Ken...a little over a year ago you could have built a deck almost 3 times that size for the same money. Yep.. crazy for a small builder like me! I have a big job on hold as lumber steel and concrete all getting nuts. Lucky for now the gas crisis averted.

Mike..with that coil mounted where you have it...your front drivers side tire will rub when you turn hard. You should probably move it up out of harm's way. oh...I liked how you got out of your thank you by sayin you saw derricks video earlier. Good one.

Re: Trying to look under the hood...
Hey welcome. Yeah it's kinda like a "bent metal pressure bump thing". If this sat outside for a while it could be rust holding it. I would think if you stand next to the tractor grab both sides of the hood back by the dash and give a firm tug it should pop. If not maybe spray some wd in two spots. I...

Oh yeah! That looks like it would be a fun one to be at! I sure do miss the hunt for cubs. I still scan cl (not sure why) for older cubs but it seems to me not nearly as many as 10 years ago. I guess they all found homes. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Steve. It's hard not being up there to help. I kinda think he is not understanding or not wanting to understand things I'm saying. For now he cut a block of wood and jammed it in somewhere that is holding it up so he can cut the couple yards he does for pay. That sounds easier than dealing wi...

Gtx 2100 lift trouble
So father in law (lives in Andover NY) bought a 2012 cub cadet gtx 2100 last year. He called today and said the electric lift will move down but not up. Dealer said a new lift motor is $750. Ouch! I called Ray but he has nothing. I told dad to take it apart to see what's actually causing the problem...

Look at all this ground clearance. It has to be a good 4 inches. Lol. Good thing for the wide skid feet I got from Ray few years back.

Any higher and you wouldn't be able to see where you are going. Lol. My yard is mostly flat...but when needed..like this weekend I grab the lift rod and hold it up that extra 1.5" to clear the snowblower at a few spots in the yard while pulling the mulch wagon. Good job!

Re: M18 vs M20 starters
Sorry so late and I'm sure you have this resolved. From what I remember... 18 has the power lug on the side. 20 has in the end. It's possible I have it vice versa but that was I issue I remember from years back. Other than that I have no idea if tooth count are different or what else.

Re: Seat on a 147
I haven't seen oem or nice aftermarket covers in a while. I found a factory cover with the foam for the higher back seat. I installed that maybe 5 years ago. It wasn't too bad but needed two people. Setting in the hot sun for an hour was key. It seems to me that narrow frame seat is kinda rare. I ne...

That edge looks good! Do those bolts have any kind of plating? Maybe a nice coat of grease on the threads and in the cap. I guess this will be the same as last year...I'm mowing and your still "claiming"your messing around with the white stuff.
