Re: THE 3240 thread

Here's some pics of the 3240 after clearing out my driveway. It was tough to get some action pics while clearing snow, but I got a couple!

Re: 1772 updates

After the fire house parking lot was cleared by a pick up with a plow, I got the 1772 out to do the clean up work around the cars that were parked there and finish up the parking area once everyone had moved. This thing did a fantastic job! Still need to replace the O-rings on the lines to the hydra...

Re: 3205 with a BIG snow blower!

I had to take a road trip to Ohio to find my snowblower for a reasonable price. Well worth the drive after cleaning up this mess!

Ah, Martinsburg isn't too far away either, about the same distance. I've actually been to that area quite a few times. Very close to the historic Harpers Ferry area. Always like visiting the Civil War areas like that.

Hagerstown is about an 1 1/2 hours west of me. I haven't watched that show in a while, but they do find some interesting stuff out there!

Re: The Official Weather Thread!

Lucky me, I will wind up working most of the weekend, so snow will get moved when I get a chance! Oh the fun of being "essential personnel"! I know my driveway will get cleaned Friday night and Saturday morning, then not til late Saturday afternoon the way it looks now. But with this: Snowblow...

Re: 1772 updates

Finally got around to getting the Haban snow blade on the 1772. I didn't have the correct lift rod for the Haban, but when I was at Rich Patton's, he let me make an outline of the lift bar he had for one sitting there so I could see what I could get together for mine. I need to get better pics of it...

Re: THE 3240 thread

Putting the snowblower on is just as easy, with the exception of hooking up the pto shaft. All in all, it took me less than 5 minutes to switch from snowblade to snowblower!

Re: THE 3240 thread

This will wind up being a couple of different posts to show how the quick hitch on the 3240 works. Quite honestly, had I known how great these things were set up, I woulda bought one years ago! Both sides of the snow blade have a pin that slides out at the bottom, this allows the blade to be lifted ...

Re: 1772 updates

So to follow up on my post from the 3240 thread, here's a couple of goodies for the 1772. Since getting the snowblower for the 3240, obviously need to have a plow on something, so picked up this power angle Haban. All in all, it's in great shape overall, just need to fabricate a lift rod for it. Hab...

Re: THE 3240 thread

And just what do you know BB??? Something about a blame game??? dag, I'm anxious to get the blower on the 3240. It's shaft driven, so no belts to deal with!! As for the plow, it's going to be taken completely apart, cleaned up and painted. It's missing the A-frame to mount it to the tractor, s...

Got a question about my 582 carb. A friend of mine helped me rebuild it (I'm not overly familiar with the Briggs carbs, thankfully he is!). Can someone provide me with the initial carb settings please?

I'm ready for the most part, but will be changing things up, as is usual! Seems like every year I wind up with different tractors with plows and blowers on them! lol Always gotta be ready in the Hereford Zone....it's amazing what a difference and handful of miles makes!

I'll hopefully have a snowblower for the 3240 at the end of the week, then looking to put a snowblade on the 1772. Either way, I will be able to m...

Re: 1772 updates

The other thing I was able to get done was clean up and repaint the exhaust and add an extension on. Definitely a lot better than being all rusty like it was before! All of the fluids and filters have been changed as well as both of the belts. Only a couple of things left to do. I have a pair of V61...
