The 3240 and her new to her power angle plow and other toys.... 3240 and toys.jpg Here's the rear weight bracket for the 3240....now just need to find some weights!!! rear weight bracket.jpg This i...

Re: 1000th post!

Todd, no picture of a 1000, but congrats on your milestone post! Like you, I haven't been on here as much recently, but I'm trying to make a concentrated effort to do so. The fb groups get very annoying to me. Along with the "spread" frame and 3 pt issues which I wholeheartedly agree with, don't for...

Re: Newest Cub Addition

That sounds great Dave! I would love to have the vent holes in the panels but I don't want to risk screwing them up! Lol. The biggest thing I need to tsckle right now is the differential....need to get it fixed or replaced before it gets any worse.

Joe, how could younpossibly not have any pics???? That's just wrong! Lol. Dave, not everything turns to gold, but I have been lucky enough to come across a few good deals now and then. This latest 1772 was definitely one of them! Thanks Lew! I most likely will be getting rid of a few more. The 2 Sup...

Re: Newest Cub Addition

Hmmmm.....look what else showed up....1772 #2! Overall in very good condition, everything works as it should, except the front mounting tabs are broken on the differential. Also looks like the top bolt holes going into the differential housing have also had some work done on them. All in all, got on...

A big THANK YOU!

Just wanted to take a few minutes to thank our Northeastern guys for some great hospitality this weekend! Fawn Grove Olde Tyme Days

Just thought for anyone in the central MD and southeastern PA area that might be interested, the Citizens Vol. Fire Co. will be holding their Olde Tyme Days from Friday, July 10th through Sunday, July 12th. There will be lots of antique farm tractors, garden tractors, hit and miss engines, tractor p...

Re: 582-H2

Jess awesome job! I have been wanting to put hydraulics in a 582 forever, but don't have the know how or tools to do a set up like that. Probably the nicest 582 set up I've seen. Since you used a 782 pump and rockshaft, I'm guessing you could use a cat 0 hitch on it too, couldn't you?

Mark, where did you find the decal for the front bumper? I've been looking and couldn't find any of the 40th anniversary decals so far.

Re: I'm blaming this one on BB!!!!

So today wound up being pressure washing day for the 3240's. The 54" deck desperately needed a good cleaning, as did the underside of 3240-1. After getting everything cleaned up, greased and lubed, just waiting on a new set of PTO belts to put #1 back together. #2 got cleaned up just so it wouldn't ...

Re: I'm blaming this one on BB!!!!

Well finally got to mow with 3240 #2 yesterday, and definitely do like the 48" deck better. It may take a few minutes longer, but the deck is more manageable for my property. Fortunately, this 48 also has the rollers like my 54 does, so it still gives that striped look. All in all I'm very happy wit...

Thanks guys! I've actually been using it to mow the last couple of weeks while I've been working on some odds and ends on 3240 #1. Now that I have 3240 #2, it'll be used for other chores around the house and for riding around at shows and tractor pulls. This too, of course, needs a few things done a...

Thanks for the link BB. They are actually not far from me at all. So in doing research, I've found out a few different things. NOT a 3240!

Just so everyone knows, while I have picked up a couple of newer CC's, I also picked up this very nice 71 to go with my son's 123. Have a few odds and ends to do to it, but overall a very nice little tractor. I still like the IH Cubs too!

Re: I'm blaming this one on BB!!!!

Of course I am!!! So since BB called me out already, here is 3240 #2! Found this on about an hour away. Overall in better shape than 3240 #1, also has the 48 inch deck which I was really looking for. Fenders are a little banged up, but otherwise sheet metal is in really good shape. Only 570 hours on...

Farmall M pulling tractor

As some of you who have been around awhile know, while my interest in Cub Cadets is still there, I also like playing with the big boys too. I've had a Farmall C and H as well as this M. I've gotten into pulling quite a bit with the M and having a blast with it. The C and H have left, but the M has b...

Brought another one home!

Brought home another Cub today, a very nice little 71. Has headlights/tail light and fenders will be put on soon. Will probably add a 3 pt to it as will, and maybe even a creeper just so it's fully optioned out! The only thing it really needs is a solid seat, the one on it is pretty will shot. Thank...

So I finally got some time to clean up and get to know my 3240 better. All in all, cleaned up very well. Re: NF blue seat trim opinions/answer

You may be able to take your seat to an upholstery shop and have the blue trim died to the correct color. I will try to find some pics of the seat on my old 124. I had the seat completely redone at a vinyl shop. In order to get the vinyl to lay flat, I think he actually used an adhesive or tape betw...
