Re: This is pretty neat
FYI...The original poster of this thread also used build all kinds of neat things .. back in the day. I think that's why he posted this because he was working on plans for a rocket cub! He was a legend in his time. I heard from someone that he once worked for a space program or something to do with...

The sub frame is on, it was that way when I pulled it out of the shed.
I know what I would do.....steel, torch, welder....adapter, it fits now but it's an hour away now.

Ken, that is the correct blade. But I was under the impression that you could bolt on an earlier non-QA blade. Is that wrong?

Pin on snow blade on a QA tractor
I sold my 126 with a pin on blade that had extensions. The buyer is saying it won’t fit. I have not messed with one of these for a long time, can someone take a stab at what could be the issue?

AW, has it rained there today?
I ask because it has rained here ALL day......I'll need to know if I need to bring some hip boots, chest waders or just golf spikes.

Re: 1872 freshen up burning oil
After checking/changing the breather I would find a wooden skid and load it as heavy as possible. I would put conventional oil back in it. Chain it up and load the engine as much as is safely possible and work the engine hard. Working it hard will build cylinder pressure and put pressure on the ring...

I would start with a 12volt test light. Start at the key switch and test for power, if you have power move to the next connection.
My hunch is that you will find a loose connection or a bad ground.
