Lebanon Valley Classic Indoor Tractor Expo

I don't know how many have heard about this show coming up so I figured I put this up. It is going to be held at the Lebanon County Expo Center in Lebanon PA February 19th and 20th. It is for garden tractors and big tractors. Lawn and Garden Tractor Magazine will be there taking pics. The show websi...

Re: 1641, finally have a modern-ish cub.

Earlier this year a 1641 also became my first Cyclops. It only had 200 hours on it and I couldn't say no. I wanted something just to mow with and didn't want to worry if I put a scratch in it unlike some of our show tractors. I threw on some ag tires that I had laying around and I have mowed with it...

Re: 1641 PTO issue

Dave, I didn't have time to get arm rests in this one yet. I found it with only 229 original hours on it. It has been my main grass cutter since the spring. So far I am pleased with it. I didn't know what to expect as it is my first Cyclops. It did come with my second favorite accessory though, the ...

Re: 1641 PTO issue

Please check the seat safety switches. The exact same thing happened to my 1641 a few weeks ago. Hit a bump in the yard and the pto shut off. Had to hold the switch up to keep the pto going and fininish mowing. There are two safety switches under a metal plate that floats on two springs under the se...

Re: Red Power Showdown, Bloomsburg PA

Dave, all in all the weather wasn't too bad. There were a few storms and showers, but they came and went. Most folks had canopies to huddle under and tractors could be wiped off.

I don't really have any info on the tiger cubs but I thought they were neat looking. Too bad you couldn't make it.

Red Power Showdown, Bloomsburg PA

I don't know how many have heard about the IH show in Bloomsburg PA coming up on June 12-14 2014. It is being put on by IHCC chapter 17, and if the previous Red Power Roundups held here are any indication it should be a good show. With the Roundup out in South Dakota this year, this show gives the e...

Re: 2182-2: "An Incredible Cinderella Story..."

Tom, I had the same issue with my 2072, only a little worse. Where your crack is, my whole flange broke off. It was backyard repaired before I got the tractor. A little welding and an additional bolt further back into more "meat" on the housing. I did not like it. It might have held, but it bothered...

Re: Quiet line Questions

Some of my Quietline thoughts. I have a 1000, had a 1450. Dad has a 1200 since new, has a 800, and has a 1650. That is a pretty good selection right there. ISO mounts. Yes they wear out. Yes they will need to be changed. Yes they are pricey. However we are talking about a 20 year maintenance item he...

Re: Some 2072 Improvements

dag1450, Yes this is, was? your tractor. I have not had any issues with the paint, however it has mostly been in my barn with a blanket over it. I still need to get the deck back together. I want to put a coat of Slip-Plate on the bottom in the spring before I use it. I have to say this has been the...

The paint is nice, but it does have some scrapes and scratches.

I like they way it is now, nice to look at but not so nice that you would be afraid to use it.

Some 2072 Improvements

Over the past few months I made some improvements to my 2072. The rearend was cracked in the front at the mounting bracket. I replaced the whole rear end with a nice solid one and also added the plate on the back to stiffen everything up. Thanks to Ray Weaver for the parts. I figure it should last m...

782 Pick Up Today

Hello, I was able to pick up a nice 782 today. I got it from a fellow who said he looks in here once and a while. Its a good day when you get a tractor from a nice guy. The tractor has its' original paint and around 800 hours. It runs real smooth, steers good, and the hydro is tight. Came with a nic...

Re: Hoods don't aline on either 1450.

The problem lies in your dash tower.

You need to loosen the 4 bolts that hold the tower on to the frame.

Push forward on the dash tower. That gap at the hood will close up.

It is nice to have two guys to do this. One to hold the tower in place and the other to tighten the 4 bolts back up.
