Bryan,Once u set the ground speed lever where u want it it runs smooth,it jerks only when moving the lever. Did a little digging and it sounds like the springs in the trunion. I will try a shim on the ends of the spring plates or the end cap things, and just see if im on the right track.

Like i said this is a mag 18. This may give u the location but u may need to fine tune your own holes to use.This one just happen to have a bright orange spring ,how sweet is that! Dave

Thats a nice looking setup. Does the tiller have some sort of slip clutch that protects your driveline from damage ? you were going over some tough ground ,rocks, hard clay, roots ,stumps. Looks like your preparing for winter taking all the trees out of harms way next to the driveway Dave
