Sunday, 1/16, 2022 “We're 5 days out and models will likely shift, but this one presently looks like it might get its own Wikipedia page.” Models all presently suggest widespread 1-2 foot potential. Re: New 1650
A good inspection of my new 1650 it's in very good condition. Other than the oil ring issue the only other issue is a wiring problem for starting which I already found the problem. Where is the neutral start switch located on the 1650? Google research suggests pouring a bit of Marvel down into the c...

New 1650
Look at what followed me home. It was a barn find and sat about 10 years. It does smoke and probably stuck oil ring. Thinking Seafoam, how much can be added to the oil?

Re: PTO Switch 1811
. Success! . Dug the 1811 outta the snow and was able to inspect the seat switch. One of the wire terminals not plugged into the seat switch. Inspection showed the terminal was bad. Crimped on a new 1/4" blade terminal and PTO works as it should. Any chance we can get these 3 wiring diagrams added t...

Re: PTO Switch 1811
Thanks guys for your suggestions. It does use a relay (NLA) and I'm thinking the seat switch might be the issue. The old switch was rusted shut after numerous years of sitting out in the rain.
I believe this is the correct wiring diagram for the PTO system.

Re: PTO Switch 1811
The switch simply won't stay snapped up into position. Even when motor off the switch won't stay "up".
I've been running it with a cable tie holding it on.

PTO Switch 1811
I put a new MTD PTO switch in my 1811. The PTO turns on but doesn't stay in the full up switched position. You need to hold the switch "up" to keep the thrower running. Does the switch require input from another source say the seat or foot switch? I have an Amazon aftermarket switch and it does the ...
