Hydro Control Rod

Checking out 1210 and found the control lever pin to be #/4 way wore thru Was wondering if this can be pressed out and replaced or do I need to find another rod? Doesn't look too bad where trunion spring is Changed the filter and am checking to see why it won't move Thanks Ken in Pa

make sure when the belt came off it didn't damage the wire feeding power to the pto Had that problem with my 2082 when a deck belt shredded hope this helps ken in pa

What would cause tractor to have good hydro at idle ,then lose it when you throttle up engine speed? thanks for any help Ken in Pa

Is there anything that would cause ignition coils to be short lived? Had to change out one again on the 1250 to till today Seems like I change one every year now The tractor hardly sees any use since the supers moved in Thanks Ken in Pa Is there a way to meter these coils?

Changed points and condensor it will run a while and quit,run and quit so I took the carb off and will rebuild it and change filter Does that make sense for these symptons Thanks Ken in Pa

I had put new points in my 1250 last fall and it was running when I parked it &covered it for the winter Now I can't get fire to the points While removing the points I get spark when they touch the push pin but not against the engine block What gives? Thanks Ken in Pa

Yes its a loader projectand that is exactly what I needed to know I also got the Northern pump could be the same one Thanks Jim Am going to Georgia tomorrow for a wedding so it"ll be on hold for a while

Am i right that the front PTO on Cubs turn CCW as you look at it from the front? I have a bi-directional hydro pump so does it matter which port is suction or pessure as far as its rotation Thanks Ken in Pa

My 1882 snow duty tractor sat out covered with a tarp for a week or two Has been down to zero most of that time This afternoon is about 32 Had to use starting fluid twice to start it was turning over great as I kept battery maitainer on it Shold I be looking for a fuel pump Thanks Ken in Pa

Dale I tried disconnecting the ign switch then plugged the engine harness in and it would die.I then took a pice of wire and took the thee wires in that plug one at a time with the jumper Only one mames it stall and its yellow into the harness which shows going to seat switch as you suspected Will c...

Put new plugs in 1882 and disconnected plug going to magneto coil and rectifier -tractor fires and runs As soon as I plug wires back in it back fires pops and quits and if I try to start with plugged in it really back fires and pops with no start Any suggestions where to look next? at least I know n...
