Re: New projects?

To many no-cub projects! Dave C and I have been sawing lumber for our area at our club grounds. We “own” (along with engine mike) a 22x32 space in our big pole barn. We are following another member who has “finished” his space with recycled rough cut barn board. We are a year behind, and just cutti...

Glad to hear it's running. Took the deck off mine today, going to put the plow on! Then chains! BTW, where are the pictures of that new beast? I may have to drive to Cooperstown if you don't! She’s now in Greenfield Center NY, which is where I’ll using her. Got to get some photos posted I know. It ...

Re: 1979 Cub Cadet International Purchase

Thanks for the insight Joe! Where I was raking is like a dried up swamp full of leaves ... stumps, mounds, clumps of long grass and a ton of fallen branches and debris . Only way in , or out, is with a backpack blower , rake and tarp! Think I should just bulldoze and make it a parking lot! Lol I am...

Hello All, It’s been a while. Hope everyone is doing well, safe and healthy! I did in fact purchase the 782 that Don Debolt had advertised. Today was the first time I mowed with the machine and it ran great! I’m very pleased with it so far. One concern I have that perhaps someone can help answer is...

Re: 1979 Cub Cadet International Purchase

Hey Steve, there has been a 782D on Utica Craigslist. There seem to be 2 prices,$3200 or $4000. It has a cab and blower, but I didn't look too far into it. Yeah there is that one and a 1572 Diesel super as well. Only issue at the moment is money... The hospital has to get pair first. I hear ya ther...

Thanks for the replies. I did find the info on build dates. I'm hoping to find another home for it, but I'll have to assess the condition first. Maybe next weekend, it's in the Syracuse area.

Sabre tractor

Hey guys, not sure if this is the proper forum, but my sister in law has her Dad's Sabre 1742HS lawn tractor to sell. I don't have pictures yet, but it is in decent shape. It really hasn't had much more than leaf blowing duty since 2008. If anyone could estimate value, I'd appreciate it. I would say...

Re: Hows everyone doing during this lockdown BS... ??

Bassett is hard for me to forget. Did a lot of my EMS training under them and St. Lukes plus others. Plus for me they are local. My only gripe was when I saw the full bill, that almost put me right back into the cardiac ward !!!! Total hit over $70K The two stents were $5,600.00 just for the parts!...

Dave, Bassett in Cooperstown. The internal work was OK and the nurses and PAs were great(except mr.trip LOL). So far things are doing OK. The way things are going it will be interesting if Saint E's will be around much longer. I don't know how I forgot about Bassett... Brain fart I guess! They took...
