Re: NLA part

Thank you Tom. That's good thinking.
Prices are all over the place on that clip but they are still out there.
The little tang at the right end is prone to break off from what I've seen.

NLA part

Does anyone have a source for this? Not the best design ever, the retaining ear tends to break off over time or the clip may just fall off no matter how firmly I think I have it installed.

Re: And I came home with two dollars

I picked up this dual purpose hitch on line. It's very nicely made and well thought out. DSCN0504.JPG Now I can pull around my wagon or move my 5 X 8 trailer if need be. I'm glad tat I was able to track down those 12-24 self tapping bolts too- those threads in the frame were all in good shape and it...

Funny Farm was filmed in Townshead, VT. fifteen miles from my home. The movie set called for a gazebo on the village green and they built one just for the movie. It remains there till this day. The diner sequence was filmed at the Dam Diner just up the road. Hey, I'm workin on it Ok? DSCN0499....

Re: And I came home with two dollars

All I want to do is wrap up the few remaining details on this project and put this thing to bed for the Winter turn key ready for Spring mowing but noo- I had a bad time getting the front PTO on, it would have been so much nicer to work on when the engine was up on the bench but I was lacking the pa...

Re: #1 wagon

I probably should have taken a bit more time and thought about this a little better. In the end it did not matter anyway. I did not like the way the tongue was resting on the hitch plate. I decided to add on a extended length. It fits inside the tongue like a glove. The tongue is now sandwiched toge...

Hey this one runs real strong. I ran it up the driveway a couple of times in third gear at full throttle and it liked it. No smoke either. Good topic Mike, there's got to be folks here that can chime in here to that! I still have my first base station. It's a 1959 RCA Mk. 9 nine channel. RF output was through one half side of a single 6GH8 tube so it was not exactly a powerhouse, 4 and 1/2 watts peak if I recall. DSCN0416.JPG The mic i...

Re: And I came home with two dollars
