Lewis The grill is the one in Dave's picture. From you I figured as much...... Harry Dave wasn't working so much as Mike and I where that night, not quite how that worked out but Dave was off looking for stuff and Mike was just on fire. If you had a whole 55 gallon drum of hardware I'm sure it'd be ...

Re: 126 resto

I clean/sand blast all of the bolts/parts before they get dropped off at a plating shop in the Hartford area. As of mid-January I blasted all of the bolts I have saved from every parted, or restored tractor. It's a full time thing, as tractors come apart for something I save the old hardware. When a...

Harry that "Under the deck" Picture was 10,000 on the old forum, still saved that way on my computer. I had the dash tower until not long ago, still might be close by, I did a bunch of clean up last fall I think it might have just gone to scrap.... Kevin I'm not sure what tires you mean the rears are 6-12 turfs from the 60's and are there till I'm ready to install the now 8.50's I got for it and the fronts are 4-8's off a old snow blower. The fronts work great for tuning in the snow, if I ever put a blade on a tractor with 3/4 spindles I'll us...

Harry The engine is sitting on the stand behind my truck. A bit hard to take pictures of.... It's a 13 fin fully re-built and ready to go in! The 126 will get done first, hopefully before spring but as I gather things I'm missing for the 126 I'm sure to get the correct one for the 169 as well. This ...

Ryan Get yourself a set of Bolens weights from the 60's they have the valve stem cut out and fit inside the rims used on most IH Cub Cadets. I have a couple sets, they work well and the best part is the IH ones will fit over them and will still look nice. Paint them white and you won't know they are...

To add, 69925C1 was used on my 169 that I'm restoring, I've found this gauge on very few other 1x8/9's not sure why they changed but they did. There are no other markings other then the P/N.

That are coming down from the rock shaft is on the other side of the pivot point then most blades/blowers are mounted. This would reverse things thus pushing instead of pulling and vice-verse!

Re: 71 cub cadet 126

norm We need more info on your deck. You can measure outer blade to outer blade tip to tip this will give you the size of the deck. Are the brackets that hold the wheels on welded or bolted? If welded you have a 48" deck bolted could be 38 or 42. Those 2 yellow covers 1 hole each or 2? 1 hole is for...

Re: Hydraulic Unit on 122 - Will it fit other models?

Rob It will bolt right onto all N/F models from your 70 to your 73. The 70/100's and the 1x2/3's will need the frame drilled for the mounting bolts, The location instructions can be found in the manuals section of this site. With a few modifications it will also go onto a Original, use the parts man...

Those N/F sub-frames are always getting cut up to make wide frame ones. If it is still straight see if someone close by would swap you for a W/F one. If I where closer I've got a spare W/F one here, i'm sure shipping would kill the deal though....

All of them had the cover, mine is not a true 59M in that it was made before 73 and was painted Makissic green, it has the cover. Many parts can still be had though Makissic although the mounting for the tractor part is not. You got a good start, find a cover and start chipping!

After almost 5 years in the making the 126 saw some Dupont Imron paint today! More paint to be shot tomorrow and more Sunday for any fix ups that need to be...
