Re: Loader Mutt Continues...
A Fireman is a guy who's crazy enough to run INTO a burning building, while all the SANE people are running OUT!  But seriously folks... I'm on a job assignment for the next few days. When I get home, I gotta round up 80ft of 4" drain tube, get it placed in a trench in the back of my pro...

Re: Loader Mutt Continues...
Hi Guys! No immediate progress since I got back from my run to Lubbock, I'm busy getting caught up for winter... but soon. Joe- when someone says a guy "Wrote the book" on... that 'guy' was me... the holeless and in-grounds, tractions, and controllers... so I spent plenty of time running the car-to...

Re: Loader Mutt Continues...
I think it's just you and Joe, Dave... Btw, Joe- is it passenger & freight elevators, or grain elevators? (I used to work for Mongomery... then Montgomery-KONE... a long time ago...) Grain elevators are so much fun... Changing drive belts in a thunderstorm really shows your insanity. I also learned...

Re: Loader Mutt Continues...
Wow! Three Daves and a Joe! how'd THAT happen? Master? Not even close... I could be considerably more meticulous about this stuff, but the result would not be significantly better in any functional way. If I were to do it again, I would likely not do SOME things different, but I MIGHT do it f...

Re: Cub Cadet 147
Welcome Paul. Thanks for posting. I would love to see some pictures of your 147. I have been loosely looking for one for years. I basically have one...but those extra 2 horses over my 127 would make all the difference I don't know why..lol. I do think the electric lift would be fun... although prob...

Re: Winter Snow and Storm Pics
A few years ago, I got a Cub Cadet 3x from Home Depot. As I have come to learn, the Home Depot portion of the program is part of the problem. The Home Depot versions of stuff are apparently incredibly cheaply made. So, the first few years of the snowblower it worked pretty darn well. Handled most s...

Big Mike.... what's wrong with the post. Why are you so afraid. See in today's world we need to have diversity and inclusion. These are the qualities of a well rounded person. I for one don't identify as a person. I like to be called a machine. I'm not even a male ..I'm just a machine! So get used ...

Hello! Does anyone know of a video out there that shows where the Zurks (spelling?) / grease points are on a 782? Looking for instruction on greasing everything that should be on an annual basis. Thank you! Rich My 782 has 3 on the mower deck, 1 on each steering spindle, and 1 on the steering box (...

Re: What I did with my tractor today! (Pic heavy please!)
Ooh... I want to guess. Looking at the direction of the mud trails, I'm thinking that left side was down in the muddy ditch. The only way to keep moving was to let the tires spin. With an open differential that left wheel down in the slippery ditch was throwing mud up forward onto everything. That'...

Re: What I did with my tractor today! (Pic heavy please!)
"I don't always mow with snow chains on, but when I do, I throw 5 pounds less mud up on the tractor!" The funny part was some A-hole pulled over and watched me rock that tractor for a good 5 minutes! I think the wheel weights were what kept me moving, not to mention the huge weight on the sea...

Yeah I think your right. We don't even need D2 to reply.... here's the very ditch your talking about Tom. Here's the proof...he posted this a while back. Case solvedoops.jpg Nope, wrong ditch! The terrain is flat on the Eastern shore, so the ditches kind of slope here, and just catch the water unti...

Re: What I did with my tractor today! (Pic heavy please!)
D2, this needs more of an explanation! I hope you didn't roll it over! Splashed by another vehicle? Help us understand why it now looks like a mud-bog machine! Sorry I've been gone, had to go to NY for a week. I got stuck in the ditch and kept going back and forth to get out! I spun all that mud on...

Give it time to heal... I was insane waiting on my knee surgery, I know how that is! But rest may be what you need, or at least find a way to sit while working. I'm dealing with back trouble, so Pain and discomfort is a constant companion.

Re: Winter Snow and Storm Pics
Ken, that view looks familiar, back when we had our Corgi I would blow off a large section of the lawn so he didn't have to drag his ***** in the snow. Used to find leaves, grass, and the occasional hunk of dirt in there. Found a rock in the neighbors driveway one time. It came out like a cannonbal...
