Re: House Roof

Looking good there Dave. I think the back roof makes it look more appropriately like a house as well. Definitely a big improvement. That was our house two weeks ago. When we had the heavy rain about three weeks ago the roof started to leak above our daughters room and drip thru her ceiling. I had pl...

Re: Might be working

Congratulations Scott, glad to hear it. I was north of Williamsport today in the general vicinity where their doing the drilling into the Marcella shale and there was a HECK of a lot of equipment and loads of pipe and you name it moving around up there on the highways and back roads. You should be g...

Re: how are your trees changing may want to take a trip

I had to go to Wellsboro this morning and between Williamsport and Steam Valley mountain on route 15 the leaves were absolutely BEAUTIFUL today. I think like Doog said this weekend will be perfect in that area for foliage viewing. I thought about taking a ride up that way tomorrow with the Misses an...

Go with it vote from me as well Scott. I agree with Jim, the IHRegistry in it holds a little piece of "our" past with the old site.

Re: Whatizzit?

Tim does appear to be a sickle knife sharpener. As to what it fits or what is missing I cannot say. The weights look exactly like the weights that come in the rear bagger kits for bigger MTD garden tractors like Yard-Man or Yard Machines. At least they used to be, and those front rims are different ...

Denny my dad called me tonite and told me, please pass along my condolencses to the Daugherty family. He was one of the biggest guys involved with our cub cadet hobby and will be missed immensly.

Rain, rain go away!

Well todays rain storm made it official. My roof has to go! Wife called me this morning after barely being at work ten minutes and tells me that there is water coming thru the ceiling in the daughters room. Nothing major, just s slight drip. I just got done investigating it and the sheeting along si...

Re: RAIN!

I've heard anywhere from 2-4 here in central PA. We need it but you're right not all in one day. Hopefully with the moisture we got earlier in the week in the ground it won't all wash away. Always seems we get inundated with this stuff late in the year when its time to harvest, which stinks for us c...

Re: farmall 560

Tony thats the reason I bought this one. I have always thought that the 460-560's were just classy looking tractors. I know they had a bad rap but I didnt buy it for heavy work and really have plans to restore it in the future. It has been interesting since I bought it trying to get leaks and whatno...

Denny, will definately keep him in our prayers here. I hope someone else can step up to the plate and keep finalizing the arrangements with cub cadet to have the event at the Bartlow building next year if he is unable.

Re: Trailers

Todd in my opinion if you just want something that you can haul two cubs around to a pull I would consider something like the driveover four wheeler trailers Worthington makes. I know worthingtons are made of aluminum and that would make them more expensive, but I think some of their designs would f...

Re: Nittany Antique Show Fall Show

Todd thanks for fielding the answers to those questions as things are a bit strenuous at the moment. I didnt get to look at that V12 close but I assumed it was of some sort of ford design as it fit in there pretty slick. Did you talk to the guy at all? Wonder if he just took a funk stlye conversion ...

Thanks much guys. She was a sweet old lady who lived to the age of 99. She always treated me as if I was one of her own and she will be missed by a great many people.

Re: Glad to be back

Denny, my prayers and condolenses to you and your family. We are going thru similar circumstances at the moment as my wifes grandmother just passed away yesterday morning. So we will attending services tomorrow and friday. Just remember to keep looking up to the man upstairs and remember his plan is...

Re: Farmall Cub

Cubs are fairly manueverable little tractors. Should be worlds better in a snow blade than a cub cadet. When it comes to the mower deck though I would say that a 59" cut is asking a lot out of a cub. There was one on the cub we have when we bought it and it took alot just to sling the mower over wit...

farmall 560

Since the crash I have also been working on the injection pump on my 560 diesel. Finally got it going after sitting since november in the shop tore apart. I also pulled the front wheels and painted the rims and put new sneakers on it as well. Took it to a tractor pull at the local antique show two w...
