Model i1050 Zero Turn Riding Mower
Hydro-Static drive adjustment question on a Model # 17WF9DKP010-1050. It is a little over 3 years old. From the beginning the Zero turn mechanism works great in a very, very sharp turn - but a "middle of the road" turn causes the rear wheels to push the outer front wheel to scrape and gouge the grass such that going around trees leaves a circle which is scraped to dirt. I took pictures of the issue to dealer in first month of use and they were brain dead as to the fix. Now that warranty is over, I ordered a full service manual and plan to alter the amount of turn it takes to activate the individual hydrostatic drive into its reverser/breaker mode. Any one's experience with doing this would be appreciated.
