Started building an axle to lift the disc with.

Robbed it from this garden cart.

Finished the Axle today. Added a few more braces to it.

Using a 12v Electric Actuator to raise and lower it.

Image

You have to add a couple of jumpers to a DPDT switch to reverse it.

Mounted it to the panel under the seat.

Raises and lowers now.

Here's a Video of it working.

I have to add a couple of more braces and a 2 chains to level it when up. It will raise about 3" off the ground.

I took it out to see if it is high enough, I still need about 2 more inches. I will add an extension onto the arm coming up from the axle.

Bend the arm on the back, I didn't know if it would hold or not. I will have to rebuild it.

Then on to the adjustment arms for the gangs.

Here is a Video showing me using it. I have a few soft spots and was doing a lot of spinning, but it did work fairly good.

Pat,

It should pull it just fine we disced our garden last year with a 6 foot ih disc with cub 1782`s cub cadet 1606 (with chains of course)But I got a brinly disc so we sold the ih one.I like the brinly disc more because its smaller and that means more cub time :D !
