Howdy all,

We won't have to worry about the ground being too hard, that's for sure. Like Mike said, It rained, and then it poured, and then it rained, and then it rained a little more.

I'll be out (Hopefully) cleaning the barn this weekend and getting ready to set up the kitchen. I have a half dismembered Chevy pickup in the way at the moment.

One way or another, plow day always happens....even if we don't get into the field. 8-)

Jess,
Thanks for the offer but the only yellow tractor that I'm bringing will be my 149 with the Haban sickle bar.
Thinking of bringing my Dad's Whee Pony! with its sickle bar & maybe his restored unstyled L. We might even bring his Sears/David Bradley kids tractor that we brought before.
I hope it dries out by then. Around here we've had about 3" of rain over last weekend.

Let's all hope for dry weather, some nice sunny breezy days and no combine issues.
If we think pure thoughts(I know that's tough BB) we may have luck this year and if not we will STILL have a good time
I could care less if we actually get to plow. Just getting to give my ole buddy BM a big hug is all I go for anymore. :)
As long as there is no kissing involved we are good to go

I hate to say this but it doesn't look like I will make it to Ohio plowday this year. With Chris getting married on the 26 i have had to schedule my time off around the big event. Jess plow a round or two for me, on a slant grill if you can find.one ;-) l hope everybody has safe travels to and from plowday and I know plowday will be a good time rain or shine.

Just over a week left to go, I hope we get weather like this.

I'm working on my to-do list, plow day is a good excuse to get some maintenance chores done. A lot got pushed to the back burner this year.

Cal , your probably not making plowday??? WHAT!!!! :(
Somebody needs to get there priorities straight , don't make me come up there and kidnap ya .....LOL
Me and the duct tape queen will tie ya up and throw ya in the bed of my truck , and force you to plow when we get up there .
I'd blackmail you by threatening to post pictures of you on a green machine , but I don't think that's drastic enough .
I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

I put the 782 in the bed of the truck last night after mowing with it. It's got grass all over it, but I suspect it will plow ok.

Looks like I am going to work a little bit longer, punch out and then head towards Rick's with an ETA in Northern OH Stupid late tonight!

Well the weather didn't exactly cooperate but those of us who gathered together for Ohio plow day #9 had a great time hiding in the barn and eating. 8-)

It was a good chance to spend time with so many terrific people that I see far too rarely. Thank you all for a terrific weekend!

Thank you to Lena,Mark and AW for their hospitality and hard work and to Lisa and Dale Merkle for all they do to help make plow day the great event it is.
It may have been wet(too wet for normal people to plow) but the barn was dry and the fellowship was great!

I want to thank the Gonya family for a great time . Good food and friends made up for the lousy weather .
Yeah it was a bit wet , but later that evening a few of us diehard plowers made a few passes in the field . I brought home some good Ohio dirt with me , and I will have to power wash the 982 in a couple of days .

I'll post some pictures in a couple of days .
