So, no one posts about upcoming events anymore? I just found out that Fort Allen show is tomorrow.I guess the old days are gone after all.

Mark, unfortunately we've lost a lot of traffic in the last few years. I think Facebook stole a lot from all of the forums, but I wouldn't know, I refuse to use FB. All of us could post more, about everything. I certainly have my excuses for not being as active on here, but a core group of us has continued to at least banter back and forth a bit. I think we just had a few members that posted plow day info, and they aren't as active here anymore. I've never known about any events like that unless someone else posted them.

Join us when you can here, post up some good stuff!

Tom,
Like it or not, Facebook is where most of the traffic has gone. There are pages for all kinds of garden equipment. Most forums that I am a member of are practically dead. GT Talk used to be huge until their great ambassador, the elder George Randal passed away. I am on maybe 8 Facebook groups dealing with walk behind garden equipment. There are two dealing specifically on the brands I collect.

In my case my interests have changed. I still have a 4 Cubs but the gathering, collecting, working on and selling has slowed significantly. I use the 2072 a handful of times a year and mow/pick up leaves with the 125. The 100 has set for at least 5 years and the 126 longer. I simply have less Cub needs and uses.
When I started working on the Bobcat I looked briefly at discussion groups on line, then I found a Facebook group and that seemed to be the "right" place. It's very focused and easy to navigate with lots of common information as opposed to some web discussion groups where you may only find a handul of posts mentioning the orphan I bought.
I'm sure the pandemic has had an impact on internet traffic also.
I do miss the Golden Era, Geezer, Skott, The Mayor, Jim Chabot, The Toolman, CubRick......I miss the banter and the crazy adventures but times change, it's just life. One thing that cannot change are the friends and the momories made here.

Yep, sorry to say these types of forums seem to be "out of style". GT Talk has never been the same since senior George passed away. He was faithful at posting events and photos of events.
Yes and I too miss the colorful guys that made the IH Registry and those early plow days.

Mcamp, I will be in your neck of the woods for the June Coolspring show. Sorry, no Cubs, but will have a ROTOTILLER or two.
