That tractor and the one to the right of it were built by our own Paul Bell. The Orchard is the same one in the avatar for the Custom Corner topic.

I built the Orchard, the offset CultiVision, and a High-Clear, but all three are now owned by Kenny and Julie Wilson and live in western Kentucky.

Ya know, I have seen this tractor before in another post. May I ask what it's purpose is? To me it looks like it would go through 4ft. weeds pretty good. I like it, just dont know what fer.

It doesn't have a porpose as a working tractor. It is more or less a scale model of a full size orchard tractor. Some of us get bored with restoring tractors stock so we sometimes customize them for show.

The full sized orchard tractors were designed for use in large fruit/nut orchards. The tin work was made so the operator could drive through the trees and not break branches that would hit the tractor. Instead it would just slide along the tin. On many of the big ones the operators position was altered as well so the tin could somewhat protect them. In general they are NOT a comfortable tractor though. The tin on many held in the engine heat and funneled it directly onto the operators platform.
