Gear Drive SGT

Here's where you can post your Cub Cadet based specials. Actually, if it's cool and not Cub based, post it anyway!

Gear Drive SGT

Post by stevet »

If my memory serves me correctly, someone on the old site had built a gear drive SGT. Does anyone remember who that was? More specifically, if I remember correctly, they had run hydraulic lift on it and I was curious as to how it was done. I had a brain storm (I know, I know, that doesn't happen often!!) and just wanted some info on it. Thanks!

I don't remember who it was for sure. But it wasn't exactly a Super as I recall. I was a standard GT with a Super front axle and 26" rear tires. I think it had a KT17 or an M18 engine.

I think the tractor was built by Scott Murphy from Tennessee. Real attention to detail if I remember
