782D Brinly 3 point rockshaft
Here's my try to custom make and install the cub cadet style 3 point on my 782D. I really didn't want to spend what everyone wants for a cat "0" three point and the A frame just to use my current Brinly attachments. I will add pics as I go until it is done.

Here's the rockshaft welded up. Now to make the arm off the bottom.

Here are my parts installed for a test fit and locating where the arm goes for the lift rod to push on.

MAN.....nice job "cutting and pasting" I personally would have made a wood mock up first.....then ..scratch my head when it came time to make it in metal. Looks Great!

Thanks Dave, I guess I should show my cardboard template I started with. The cool part is it's all made from scraps from under one of the welders workbenches at my job. It also helps to have the equipment we have at work for metal fabrication.

YES....that machine...and the gold bit.... IMPRESSIVE ! With that bit... Is that something u need to take multiple passes on or just set and forget it? It looks like a beast. U should start selling them. Im too cheap...but others might buy one. Dave

That is an old school Bridgeport style milling machine not quite set it and forget it. I did small cuts but could have done it all in one shot. My dad and Steve T said I should sell them but I like to keep it one off custom

Re: 782D Brinly 3 point rockshaft
Here's a little more progress. Made the lift bar as a copy of a 782 gas just 4" longer and finished my rockshaft.

Re: 782D Brinly 3 point rockshaft
Ok here's the finished product, all works great but the real test will come at plow day in the spring. I have a few finishing adjustments to do to the Brinly hoop and have to make some lift straps.

I belive that the hood and fender decals where always " IH" in the red 82 series wether it was made by IH or CCC.

Thanks everyone. The fenders were on it when I got it and it's all original as far as I know.

Yea Albie I think Joe cleared it up. It sounds right...but it don't make sense. I can only imagine the crazy times during the change over.
