Hello everyone. I live in the Birmingham, AL area and I have a 1970 126 that my Dad bought new. The engine is seized and I need to either have it rebuilt or replaced. I'm looking for someone trustworthy in the area to take a look and advise on the best options and to do the work. Does anyone have someone they'd recommend in central Alabama? We had been using the Cub for general towing duties (manure spreader, fertilizing the pasture, etc.) when it began to blow white smoke and died. I have not been able to turn the engine over at all.

Thanks for any help!

Jay

Jay - Welcome aboard!

I would re-post your question in the "Cub Cadets and Shooting the Breeze" sub-forum. That is the sub-forum where all the IH built machines are discussed, and will get more traffic than the "Welcome Mat" area.

Again, Welcome. We probably have someone that will respond after you post over there. (Copy and paste, will save some typing...)
