Hello: I am a long time IH CC owner, having bought a 108 in 1979. It was used at the time and I have gone through one short block and two rebuilds of that in 20 years or so. I mowed with it form '79 until '98 when I bought a big JD rider. The CC has been stored inside and I have pulled it out and am going to start a restoration effort on it It looks pretty rough but will clean up fine. The mower deck was rebuilt not too long before I retired the CC. All the tires were dry rotted. I do some restoration work on old cars. I will pose some questions to this forum.
