Couldn't get my old login to work, my email address had changed so I could not get the pasword reset, yadda, yadda...so here I am under a new name. Glad you all are back online with a brand new update and name and all. I do pop in and prowl around here and read when I need my fix!
If Doog or some other mod here can get me my old login info, I'll be happy to update and use the old Jim S. account and disable this one. But otherwise, all is well.
I'm still working on the hot rod 69 Fairlane, but once that longtime project is done, I'll be looking to unload some of my three buildings of engines, Cub Cadets and parts in 2011, so I look forward to trading here a bit, too. Nice to find you all again.
Hey guys, it's Jim S. under a new login

Jim,
Welcome back. Jim S. is already used, sorry.
It's good to see some "old timers"

Re: Hey guys, it's Jim S. under a new login
OK Scott, so I take it none of the old logins from the Registry site transferred over after the crash. I'm good with it. Thanks.
Thanks for keeping this thing going, it has always been dear to me. BTW, I have hoarded a BUNCH of old photos and various flotsam from the prior site if you ever need or want them, and I still have some of the old CDs that you and others compiled over the years, if you have the bandwidth and inclination to populate the site with them under some sort of library system. Some of that technical data at quick reference might be cool, it is just as relevant now.
One other question: Does this new format support Photobucket link picture posts? I have gotten so used to just dumping my pix at Photobucket and then pasting in a link on the car boards, I wonder if the upgrade included that?
If not, I'll have to relearn how to get the pix sized right and get them up on here.
Let it rock...

Hi Jim: I see Scott answered you about your user name.
Yes photobucket works on here. Just click on Img and post the URL between the bracket and it will resize them and they can be opened to the size they are in the bucket.
You don't have to resize to open them with "Upload attachments" from your computer but you must browse, then tell it to uplad the file and you will see the file then you place it inline. I like to use that one as you can fill in the caption.

Nothing transferred over, we lost everything.
When you post, just click the Img tab and you can post a link to Photobucket or any other web host.
Almost all of the info on the three CD's I made for the registry on here:
http://www.cubcadetcollectors.com/manuals/main.php
I'm still working on it and kinda hit a wall time wise with the new job. I'm in VA all week as it is.
There are still a lot of things we need to do to make the site better.
Flotsam? Such as.............
