982 finds a new (good) home .

Post by Jlaws »

I had an old friend stop by today to pick up his 982 , between rain showers .

Never thought I'd ever see Paul Bell on a red cub , so I took pictures to document it ....
Another one I've converted to the dark side .... :D

I'm sure this tractor will make some tractor shows in the future .
I hated to see it go , but knowing its going to a good home helps .

I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

Jess,

You said it needs to be painted, and I do have some yaller and white paint..............real Cub Cadets are yellow and white  . I like the 982's and I like the QL800's but that doesn't mean I neccessarly like the other red ones or quietlines. I wanted a 982, now I got one, so maybe the red will grow on me  .........but the QL's won't. :)
May you always have as many landings as you do takeoff's.........

I'm betting it does grow on you, Paul, like the 1811 (782 wannabe) that followed me home last year. Feels a little traitorish at first, then the feeling of transforming from a redneck to a suburbanite sets in. :)
