Re: 1450 loader
You could always add one of these to the back of that loader . Makes a great and useful counterweight ....

Is that your 982? Nice setup. It looks like it gets used...

Re: 1450 loader
David , Its actually a 782 , and gets used alot . I've used it for several gravel driveway cleanups including Ohio pd and is probably my favorite cub . I also find its handy for stirring my rather large compost pile .
Sorry Dave I'm not trying to steal your thread , but your going to love that loader when its finished .

Re: 1450 loader
From my reading over the years, Hy-Tran is unmatched, and the best choice. Hy-Tran is apparently very good at dealing with moisture if it should get in.
You can get Hy-Tran at any Case IH dealer, or Cub dealer. Case IH might be a cheaper way to purchase. I found that just buying a 5 gallon pail made sense cost wise, with multiple tractors it will get used.

Dave
That dash looks great!
You should have asked about oil, I would have taken care of you and that loader!

Re: 1450 loader
Well I put the loader frame back on and started running the hydraulic lines.Have to make some cuts and weld the fittings in.
This is going to take a little time to do ( on and off ) and so on.

Re: 1450 loader
Dave, those lines look very nice!
I did mine very similarly. I also made the same style stand offs but used some UHMW so I would never have to worry about chaffing......I'll save that for plow day
I used Weatherhead Ermetto fittings because I had never brazed hydraulic connections and felt it was more my skill level.

Re: 1450 loader
Very nice. What steel did you use for the arms? Looks like 2X3 3/16" ? I was thinking of using 2X4 and cutting it on a taper to make it look like the fancy ones.

I did use the 2x3x3/16 tube.I think it looks a lot better than the 2x2 square tubing

Re: 1450 loader
Well it's been a little while but I finally got the hoses done with a few snags along the way. The only thing left is the seat pan which I have to get sand blasted then paint. And then I have to get it out of the cellar door

Re: 1450 loader
Maybe a shoe horn will help ? Most likely I'll pull the loader off which is not bolted real tight and pull the tires off then drag it out very carefully with the wheelhorse

Re: 1450 loader
Is it a wide enough opening to just lay down some lumber and drive her out?
