Just back from Plow Day!

Post by vince_o »

Well the boys and I had a great time up in the Charlotte area today. Saw some forum members there and meet a couple of people from OCC. The ground was like concreate from almost a month with no rain, but we managed to scratch the ground. The 582 ran AWSOME thans to everyone for the help. I couldnt get Vince off it! We missed Geezer, so Danny filled in for him!

Are you serious? Last time I did that everyone called me and cussed me out for breaking everything!

The guy on the loader is Methoes, from the OCC, Allen and Jen, the fat guy in the orange shirt is me, of course, Danny on his 100, and Vince, better known as the tag team, Double trouble! The guy on the horse, I didnt get a chance to meet. I was on the oppsite side of the field as he when I took the pic. There were 2 really nice case tractors there but they left before could get a shot of them.

Heres the guy that got all the cubs togeather Robert and his girlfriend Anna, and you can see some of their stuff by looking up Dixie Turf Toys Pulling in Google.

Frank

I dont know why but that eng is real loud. It also has, well had spark nock in it too. I was typing to Timmy and Todd about it. This was the first eng I ever built. I decked the block to just over the top of the piston and took if I remember right .030 off the head. Its a loud one for sure and runs good! I still like the twins better though. Im going to start my command into the 1872 here in a few days. I really like them!

Thanks for posting the pictures! As you know...we like pictures.
I seen the dust in the pictures. We could use some rain also.
Keep us posted on getting that 1872 running. Do you still have your loader project :?:
