Most unusual job for your Cub Cadet?
I have to say I love my tiller, but think it might be time to get a snow thrower! I've seen IHCCs pulling full length logs, great loader applications (replacing an engine!), and lots of plowing/mowing/etc. What's the greatest job that your IHCC has done around your place or what's the most unusual equipment you use on your Cub Cadet?

Well the most unusal job any of m cubs do is actualy work when I need then to work.
Blade sharpening,
Hauling in the hay,
Digging a fish pond,
Turning dirt,
Getting ready for a road trip,
All are quite unusal for my cubs at any given time.

Well, how about pulling another tractor?
This afternoon I pulled Holly, (my Crosley powered homemade) out from underneath the deck where she had been having her Winter slumber.
With Insensitive of course, my only other tractor with a name
This was no minor feat- that old girl weighs a half ton and the surrounding soil is sandy and steep.
There was nobody around to steer her so I just dragged her with the front wheels all the way to the right and they were not really turning either, the smooth tracks left behind were from the front tires not turning. After reaching level ground it was time to take a breather from that little affair- I need to get her ready for Colchester next, a carb and water pump rebuild, valve lash, and new fuel pump are all on the to do list.

In reading the above reminded me, did any one see a 5HP Troybilt Tiller on _bay ? It said"works fine was used to mix concrete will need to chip off the concrete and will work ok." No pictures of the mixing but one's mind can paint a heck of a picture!

Re: Most unusual job for your Cub Cadet?
My next door neighbor John wanted a new lawn mower about four years ago. I tried to talk him into getting an older Cub Cadet but he wanted "brand new". He bought his MTD cub from a "big box" store ( I tried to warn him )
Last year the drive belt broke on him. ( among other earlier problems ) I saw him walking over and very sheepishly he asked if my "old cub" could pull his immobile cub up the hill to his garage. I smiled and said "no problem".
I grabbed a strap ( motorcycle tiedown) jumped on the 125 and headed over. Well, there was a very serious problem attempting to tow his MTD Cub. Everything up front is flimsy sheetmetal
I ended up towing him backwards up the hill to his garage. As I unhooked him, he admitted he made a mistake buying new.

Watching over the herd . My 123 "Leopard Cub" likes to spend time guarding my Cub Cadet Corral out back. It knows that although these Cubs are not in the garage with some of the better looking ones, they are part of the family and one day will be brought back to life

Well.....
There's running the buzz saw cutting firewood with the rear pto and 90* pulley....and the same setup flatbelting everything from planers too corn grinder which we make our own cornmeal with.
Then there's the some fun things we do with them like skinning deer!.
I plant all the sorghum cane with my cub.....I built a planter specially for that.
I can think of lots of neat things I use the cubbies.......but mostly......mowing and pulling trailers around.

Hood hinge came apart so i removed the hood, No it's a QL that shook the hood off.
Pulling logs, doing what a Cub was born to do!!
