Re: Front Wheel Bearings
I go to a bearing supply house to get good bearings. But I've had a set of cheap bearings in most of my tractors and they seem to hold up. I do grease often. Bearing supply house bearings are much better then the OEM bearings. But make sure you get a good bearing. I have not tried to get the 1" bearings yet there.

Re: Front Wheel Bearings
Bryan,
I know the 3/4" bearings we sell at NAPA are the better ones (we can get the cheaper "light duty" ones but we don't stock them). I'm not sure about the 1" ones though. I'll do some digging.

Re: Front Wheel Bearings
I just recently bought the 1" from Napa and I like them very well. They were less expensive than from cub cadet but I can't remember the exact price.

Here you go. There may be an even higher quality version but I never looked into it. These have worked plenty well in both the 782 and 1572.

Re: Front Wheel Bearings
Only one of the four "super heavy duty" bearings from cub cadet are still in my 122 3 of the super hd bearings exploded for no reason after less than 5 hours of service they were replaced with napa bearings and they are still good.
Have a original and a 122 http://mycubs.yolasite.com/

Re: Front Wheel Bearings
Is the SME704292 the NAPA# for the 3/4" H.D. bearing?
Thanks, Doug.
Thanks, Doug.

Re: Front Wheel Bearings
Thanks for the update. I find NAPA parts to be of good quality.
