cub original exhaust
hi guys could someone post some pics of an originals exhaust plumbing or tell me what size they are im going to buy a new muffler the correct one but i know the pipes from the motor to the muffler is not correct thanks for the help !! Bob
Re: cub original exhaust
All the exhaust plumbing is 1" pipe(the threads in the engine block also and the locking nut is for 1' conduit) so you just need a muffler with 1" pipe thread and get the other parts at the hardware store.

Well most of the time when i run across a 7hp it has 2 close nipples and an elbow... however as a avid member of the correct police i can say thats not correct. Kohler still has available the correct double male threaded elbow and the muffler.
Trying to save cubs... one at a time.......

The K-181 uses the double threaded elbow but the K-161 has street el(#145), Nipple(#146) and the lock nut(#147)
