Im thinking maybe my 1872 parts tractor and some cabbage and it could be sitting in SC. That way it keep it out of LAW mans place.

Vince , go for it . I don't need another 982 , I've got three . I wouldn't mind having that tiller , but he's not selling , and he's to far away anyways .
I'm sure Ray will find that 982 a good home .

Ray thats a nice unit there. Since we are talking tractors with three points and PTO's I gots a question. One I'm pretty sure I know the answer to. Was the 782 EVER offered with either a 3 point or a 2000 RPM PTO? At least by IH?
Cub's of the farm currently: 4-Originals, 2-70's, 100, 122, 123, 124, 73, 106, 107, 126, 800, 782IH built, 982IHbuilt, 782D, 1572. Farmall Cub and Cub Lo-Boy and too many attatchments to think about.

Chad,
I know neither IH nor CCC offered a rear PTO on the 782 (other than the long belt tiller geabox setup). I don't think IH ever did the cat 0 hitch because there was no way to check the hydo fluid till CCC started using the aluminum rearend with the dipstick.

Thanks Todd thats what I thought. Someone on another board made a statement that the pto was on the 782 as well as the cat 0. I was just double checking to clarify what I thought I knew.

they did not have to offer the cat 0 3pt because they had the cast rear hence the sleeve hitch worked just fine
