New Tires
Picked up a new set of rear tires last night for my 1650 at Tractor Supply. They are called Hi-run made in New Zealand and in 10.50 x 23 x 12 they are very similar in size and tread to the carlisles on my 147 but only $99.99 each.

I have the super lugs on my 106, I think they are the best. I like them a whole lot better than the tru powers.

Re: New Tires
Albie, those are the same tires I'm running on my 782D and I love them! So far, they are doing well after being on my 782 and now the diesel. They are wider than almost all of the other 10.50 tires.

Re: New Tires
I got the same tires on my 129 and they are my favorite thing on the tractor. And don`t do what I did I wondered how much traction I got now so I took it down in the holler and turned around to come back up and it was so steep I had to set on the hood and drive it back up and didn`t spin a tire so I know they bite.

Re: New Tires
Someone told me, and you know how this stuff goes, that someone bought the tru power line from Carlisle this is the reason you cant get them in a 23 1050 any more. One thing I will never do is buy the deestones again. Those tires suck! If you buy 23 1050's your getting 21 8's. I guess in china they use a differant measuring method.

Re: New Tires
Vince, I compared the measurements on a couple of different tires and the Hi-Run was the widest of all of them. Before mounting, the tread width was at least 10 inches wide. I've got a pic of the measurements somewhere. The Deestone is barely 8.5 if I remember correctly.

Re: New Tires
I don't know Vince, I mounted mine yesterday and loaded them with antifreeze and they look exactly like the carlisles on my 147, heighth, width, and tread pattern. Check tsc website sometimes they have items that aren't carried in the store.
