Look what followed me home
Look what followed me home
I bought this with no motor out of a scrap yard. It weighed 860 lbs so that was a $100.

Great find William , you made out like a bandit .
That looks like a 50 C deck . Its a little rough looking but its got a lot of good parts , if you decide to part it .
Whats its serial # ??
Wish you were closer , I could help you out with parts , if you were going to try and get it back running .

I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

Looks like Geezer is moving into some bigger cubs. You did well for $100.00
Re: Look what followed me home
The chains are worn out. The deck is a 50 C SN032002103564.
I also got these
I'm keeping the deck and Wheel weights and I think I have the roller sold to a guy that wants to put his diesel in it.- BigMike

Re: Look what followed me home
Wow Wish I would have known it was going to be for sale. BB and I are kicking around the idea of putting my diesel in the 1872. That would have ben cool, a 982 with a loader power steering and a diesel eng.

Re: Look what followed me home
I finished the 982 today I got from Geezer. I had to go over every inch and rebuild/replace many parts. Thanks to Rich Patton on the steering wheel and a few other parts and Mike Bobbitt for the tip on the EBAY auction for the Cat O lower links. I have a couple pieces of the rear PTO but I'll have to hunt the rest. I repowered it with a 18 Mag from an 1810. I might have to add power steering,my 1872 and 2072 got me spoiled.
