A lot of you have asked for it so here it is. Just like the old site, one continuous thread.
It will stay on top of the page to make it easy to find all the time. Let us know how you like it!

BIL's original with loader. It was used on the farm to clean stalls.

I've got the "new to me" plow restored and pretty much set up for the field. It made a pretty good furrow out back so hopefully I won't have to adjust it much at the plowday.

Had a great time at the Fawn Grove Olde Tyme Days fall gas engine and garden tractor show with steve t. and Butch Bankert. Here are a couple of pics of Butch with the 73 he won at Fort Allen plow day. He did a beautiful restoration on this tractor as usual.

Albie,
Thanks for the pictures! I am glad to see what Butch has done with the raffle tractor.
If I recall, he doesn't mess with puters much so tell him how nice it looks for me.
Thanks

I like the individual threads because you can follow the replies or post to those you are interested in without having to read thru everything that has been posted, or post that don't apply. It keeps the post subjects together.

Myself I like the separate threads. For the reasons that Paul stated.
For me it makes it easier to track the posts. Before sometimes a post would get lost in the shuffle. And never get answered.

I agree with Paul and Doog. Much easier to keep an topic together and follow from start to finish if the topic deals with a rebuild or restoration for an example.

The seperate threads are a big help to me since I'm venturing into "new cub territory" myself Image

I'm sure some people see I'm posting and wonder "What's he doing now?" Image

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who's helped me. I hope I can help someone out sometime even it's just pictures of a certain part or feature.

Well I have the 582 running now. It needed a new magneto and the carb had a blade of grass stuck in the inlet valve. Now I just have to load the truck and trailer and I'm ready to go.

Left work early last night with a bad case of the flu. I didn't make it a mile from work and puked all over myself and the car. My wife's standing at the front door when I walk up dripping looking at me like I'm a freak of nature. I'm going to stay in bed and hope the contageous stage leaves before plowday. Maybe I can walk around with a mask. LOL

My 2cents on the continuous thread, it could be like channel 19 on the cb (or 16 for any coasties out there) you can always peel off and start a subject thread on the side. I enjoy reading the subject matter on the individual threads when it pertains to issues on my machines but here on channel 19 even my post now an interfere with some dialogue. I say it is the best of both worlds since I do enjoy some of the humorous banter that can happen here. I say add continuous thread to coffee shop too. Here is a little picture of my daughter leading a heard of horse at a small parade in NH last week. She is on her original condition 107.

I like to have both as well, it lets the BS'ers BS and when you need specific help use the separate thread. I think using the individual threads will help in searching for info later as well.

Now about those loaders, (In my best Will Smith voice) I HAVE GOT TO GET ME ON THOSE!

I have torn some ligaments in my sternoclavicular joint and the Dr. says I have to learn to live with it. No surgery for that joint. :x

So I NEED a loader for do things in the yard. Ya think she will write a scrip for it!

You guys have done a great job with the manuals. I was crusing threw them and I was looking at the uniform's. Id like to have a New verison of the shop hat. Do you think that people like Paul B, and Jim C would wear the shop coats? LOL

Randy,
Cub Cadets can be used for "strictly medicinal" purposes you know.

Vince,
There is a lot of old cool stuff I have from the very first IH Registry Manual and Brochure CD courtesy of Kraig McConaughey from the original Cub Cadet site.

Stay tuned for more updates to the section.
We have a lot more info to plug in there.
John T. got a nice program for us to use there.

Hey guys!! haven't been posting on here much, been pretty busy!! I like the continuous thread idea like the old Registry. That's where I do my reading. I do think it's a good idea for specific issues to be done on a separate thread if someone wants to as well, to avoid the previously stated "lost in the shuffle" problem.

Anyway, had a great time at Fawn Grove Olde Tyme Days with Albie and Butch. The 73 raffle tractor really does look great You guys would be very proud of the job done. I'll try and talk Butch into bringing it out to Ft. Allen for plow day next year. I'm sure we can find some room on one of our trailers for it!!

Otherwise, getting plenty of Cub time on on the 782's. Have all of the starting issues fixed with Cory's now, just need to do a carb cleaning on mine and it should run like a top! Put a new battery on the 124 to solve it's starting issue, now need to put a new solenoid on the 123. So many projects, so little time!!

Anyway, great catching up with everyone again and I'll try and get on here some more!
