Original Box

Post by rbeem »

Look what got saved from the trash! A gentleman found this while cleaning out an old IH dealership building and saved it from the trash several times. He said they REALLY wanted to throw it away. He thought somebody would think it was cool. I think he was right!
It's a little bit rough but who's complaining.
Maybe only the 2nd one known to exist from what I've found. I know I've never seen one before.

This came home with me, by the way.

Awesome Find Rick!

If I owned that it would be in a frame hanging in my living room! I think I know someone with a sign in his living room...ya know I think I helped him hang it up there...

I was at an auction this past Aug. There was a box,not just an ordinary one.It was for an IH tiller,Then there was another for a snow thrower. They were not in the auction. They were filled with old air cond. parts I inquired about them but they were not for sale.

It nearly got thrown away Several times by the crew cleaning out the building. The gentleman I got it from knew enough to set it aside.
I'm afraid the wife won't let me frame it and put it in the living room. I even thought it would make a really nice coffee table under glass !! Answer, No to that one also.
