Oops!
I thought the left front wheel looked a little tilted, but thought it was my bifocals playing tricks on me. Boy, was I wrong. Sweeping up leaves today a good distance from the garage and the wheel really looked tilted. Tried to nurse it back to the garage but too far gone. Looks like some field work.

Re: Oops!
I had that happen to me, turned out to be wheel bearings.

Re: Oops!
This is worse. Spindle broke just above where the arm for the steering rod is welded on. Weld ultimately caused the break, but I can't complain, it took 41 years. How many lawn and garden tractors built today will be around as long as this 147? The good thing is, I have spare parts to fix it!

Re: Oops!
I just had a similar event...broke the piece that is welded to the spindle on my 2072 so it will not steer the right wheel....Was driving across the yard to put it away...
Looks like it was porely welded in first place.
