Lift bracket width?

Post by cheifsix »

Could someone tell me what the difference in width is for the lift brackets (between narrow frame and wide frame)?
Thanks in advance.

It is listed as part #8 on the parts diagram and called lift lever mounting bracket. I guess you could call it the upper casting Vince.

I think he is talking about these brackets.

The wide frame bracket is about 1 1/2" longer.

Nope, that's not it. This would be part of the rear lift system that bolts over the frame.

Are you taking about the bracket that bolts to the frame and holds the upper casting on a 1x6/1x7?

It would be the part that the lift lever (the part to the bottom of the above picture) fits in.

This bracket is only used on the 106-147.Wide frames do not use this as the frame is wider and so is the cast piece.

Thanks everybody. I just kinda assumed that the wide frames used the same method of attching the lift only in a slightly wider version. I got me a little education today.
