70's big brother
Got the big brother to my 70 done finally. This 100 has a 12hp replacement engine, a creeper, and hydraulic unit. I've done better, but this one is about a 10 footer, old eyes are not what they used to be.
May you always have as many landings as you do takeoff's.........

Both look great to me. I can't tell which is the 100 with my eyes from 10 feet

Paul I always enjoy seeing your work, from 5 states away.
Geezer the 70 is that one over there!

Paul
Very nice work as usual , but I'd expect nothing less from you .
Your a stickler for detail and you don't do anything halfway .
My hats off to you .

I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

Re: 70's big brother
Thanks guy's.
Jess,
There's some yellow areas that need to be repainted, but it will wait until the enamel paint cures enough to be resanded and I get "round-toit" (like, next spring probably).

Re: 70's big brother
Very Nice
Are the rear tires on the 100, one size up from the ones on the 70, or do the straight shoulders just make them look a little larger. It seems to make the whole tractor appear to really be "the big brother" even though my mind says the frame, axles, dash, hood and such are all the same size...
Anyway they look really fine, nice work

Re: 70's big brother
The rear tires on both are Carlisle Tru-Powers, the ones on the 100 are 23-8.50x12, and the 70's are 6-12 size. The front tires are the same size on both but the 100 has 4.00x8 Deestone's and the 70 has 4.00x8 Transmaster's. Even though they are the same "size", the Deestones are bigger than the Transmaster's. I don't really like the looks of the Deestones, but you take what the tire man has at the time.
May you always have as many landings as you do takeoff's.........
