PTO?

Post by dbuck »

:) My CC149 has a manual pto. I have heard several different theroys about wether the pto should be engaged or dis-engaged. When using the tractor for snow plowing or just towing a wagon around for yard work. I have searched thru the operators manual and can not find wether is should or should not be engaged.

If there's no belt on it, leave it engaged so no wear occurs.

When Im not using the deck on my 106 I leave it enguaged, the handle forward, so like Matt says you dont put wear on it.
