149 drive line issue

Post by Smokey104 »

Hi y'all, I recently picked up a 149 Cadet. It's been kept up, garaged, and generally in good condition. The engine runs nice and it mows well too. The biggest problem it has is a wobbly drive shaft. I took it apart and the "drive cup" had broken off cleanly by the flywheel, it's cast aluminum. Does anyone have an extra in good shape for a reasonable price? I hate the idea of paying a hundred bucks for a new one. ...or is there a way around it. If push comes to shove maybe I'll fabricate something. Thanks in advance for the help! :D
