149 & AN ELECTRIC LIFT QUESTION...

Post by britter »

Hey All,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the 149s came with an electric lift? I'm pretty sure they came either manual lift OR hydraulic? I thought the electric lift was one away with many moons ago?

Thanks for the education in advance!

The electric lift was an option for gear drive tractors in this series... as they had no hydro pump to supply hydraulic pressure for lifting. A wide frame electric lift would fit into a hydro like a 149. And its remotely possible someone ordered it special. Or a dealer switched it out. The electric lifts for this series are very rare... and one in a hydro would be extremely rare. But i wouldnt rule it out.
