Guys anyone know what the belt size is for a 147 with the 48 inch deck on it is from the PTO to the deck?

We almost got this tractor done, Dean will be mowing grass soon, I hope! :lol:

No vince i dont.... but id bet that there is a belt cross reference in the manuals section that will tell you what belt you need.

Hi Vince, the belt papers i have says 3/8x75 1/2.(489397-r3) These papers do have a mistake here and there. Mike

I ended up using a 1/2 inch belt and it was 78 inches long worked fine. I remember some time back that Timmy had posted something about the 3/8 belts from cub being off a little too thin. Found the belt I use for the 106 and it was too long. So we went from there.

If you switch to a 1/2 inch belt you may have to change the front 2 idler pulleys to 1/2 inch. Seems to me the factory ones will throw a 1/2 inch belt.... or it turns sideways or something. Direct replacement from napa i think are like 10 bucks each or something. Not sure of the number offhand
