New HMMMMM Stool
I finished up a little project that’s been on my “want to do” list for quite a while.
Now to plunk myself in it and do some Hmmmm’ing on some of the projects on the list.- J Hayes

Very cool Tim but wouldn't a seat off an 82 or a super be easier on the tookus?
If I sat on that I would need to be near the chain fall to get me back on my feet.

Re: New HMMMMM Stool
Oh, Timmy...the pain of having enough spare pan seats to be able to use one for this must be horrible..there are guys out there doing the forehead slap when they look at it...
I ended up taking the opposite route, and found a used Handi-Lift table, lot easier to lift the Cub than it is to get my old tail back upright...

Tim,
You'd better mind that stool when certain folks come around or you might just end up with a handy little four wheel parts dolly (with a couple empty bolt holes in the middle).

Re: New HMMMMM Stool
Thanks for the compliments.
Dad used to have a couple like this around here: I never really liked them because they would sooner tip over and dump you off the back than roll. That’s what inspired the idea. It sports large metal wheeled casters that roll nicely on the concrete and they are spread out so there will be no tipping over. It is definitely on the low side but it puts me at a good height to get at the carb, points, etc.
Bill, The seat is decent, but not what I would consider show condition. When I was undoing the previous repair I was planning on putting a cushion on it to cover up the mess. But, it cleaned up nicely and it’s good enough to roll around on the way it is.
