I got my wife the following bench for Christmas a few years ago and besides great for working in the garden, it's a great bench for working on cubs. It's the right height for adjusting things and when you need to kneel down for some dirty work it flips over. When it is flipped over your knees are just a few inches off of the ground and the handles help you get back up with out moaning too much.
Make sure when you order one tell the wife it's for her!
