how many Originals were built?

Post by Farmallgray »

I'm working on my column for Red Power and I want to mention how many Originals were built. I can't seem to put my hands on a serial # list that
shows when the Original stopped and the 70/100 started. I don't need an exact figure, just how many thousand were built. I was thinking it was over 60,000 built.

Paul you beat me to it , I had to go to another site to get that info.
We used to have production numbers on all the various IH cub models made on the old IH reg. site .
Any chance that somebody saved that chart , and maybe get it in the document section ?
I see a lot of cub cadets while going down the tracks , its a shame I can't pull over and ask about them .

Rick , nope thats not it , thats the monthly production chart.
The one I'm talking about gave the total amount for the production run of each individual IH cub cadet model made.

Jess,

I'm pretty sure I have it but I only have it in hard copy form. I will scan it tomorrow if someone else doesn't get to it before that.
