starting problem

Post by dlcollins »

guys I have a 104 that's driving me nuts, it starts and runs as long as you hold key over but soon as you release the key it shuts off. the wiring looks to be correct, I changed key switch, still the same problem. anyone know what could be causing this?

Hello, i'd say you have another bad key switch. I hate old ing switchs, toggle switch and push buttons for me. Mike

Either a bad switch or wrong switch. Does it have electric lift? Does it work?

You have a 3 pole switch. IH-60736-c3 Take a test light and connect one side to ground. Turn the switch on and see if you have power at the I(gnition) terminal.
